OUR Therapy Dogs

We are very excited to have our beautiful Therapy Dogs working at Our Space Psychology.

ALBY

Alby our Golden Retriever

Golden Retrievers are an excellent choice for a therapy dog because of their behaviour and qualities. They are social, fun-loving, and friendly to just about anyone. Also, they are so gentle, loyal, and intelligent enough to be trained for different tasks.

Alby is our purebred Golden Retriever with a very placid temperament.  He is an extremely loyal dog who enjoys nothing more than spending time with people, playing tug of war and eating anything in sight.  He loves trips to the park where he can meet lots of friends and attempt to dig a hole large enough for lounging. When Alby is in work mode and in uniform (his harness) he is ready to provide unconditional comfort during times of crises.

honey

Honey our Border Collie

Border Collie therapy dogs are guaranteed to be fearless, friendly, and loyal, all of which are ideal traits. This makes them ideal therapy dogs, as they love to give and receive affection.

Honey enjoys meeting new people, cuddles and pats. She likes relentlessly fetching balls and paying with toys and is always looking for new friends to play with!

Honey has a lovely golden and white coat and is a tiny size for her breed.  When Honey isn’t working, she loves annoying her big brother Alby, going on adventures with her family and having daytime naps. When in work mode, Honey is very intuitive and eager to provide comfort to those in need.
